	Distance Healing Session Distance Reiki Sessions  How does a Distance Healing Session work?   Distance Reiki can be sent to someone across the room or across the world! The Distance Healing Symbol allows the Reiki energy to cross time and space.   During the session,  the practitioner focuses on the client, using various Reiki symbols and the client's name (and/or picture) and allows Reiki to flow and assist in the healing. The only intention of the practitioner during the healing session is to be a pure conduit of healing energy for the client.   It is helpful if you can be in a quiet, restful state at the time of the session, but that is not required. Most sessions will be completed during the evening hours, EST.    Once you have placed an order, I will contact you to set up a mutually agreeable time and to find out if you have any particular areas of concern.   Each Distance healing Session will last at least 45 minutes.   Purchase a package of five sessions for the cost of four. 	1 hour In Person Treatment What happens in a Reiki Session?   In a standard in person treatment Reiki energy flows from the practitioner's hands into the client. The client is fully clothed, usually laying on a comfortable massage table, but treatments can also be given with the client seated or even standing. The practitioner places his/her hands on or near the client's body following a series of standard hand positions. These include positions around the head and shoulders, stomach, legs and feet. Other, more specific hand positions may be used based on the individual client's needs. Each position is held for three to five minutes depending on how much Reiki the client needs in that area.    A full treatment lasts approximately 60 minutes.    In person treatments are currently limited to beings living within 25 miles of Fort Plain, NY.    Anyone living more than 25 miles from Fort Plain who is interested in receiving treatments, please send me an email at violet1@telenet.net   A package of five treatments is available for the price of four.
